Punk- a four session guitar Course -January 2026

Course Overview 

A four session, high octane, unashamedly chaotic celebration of the role of guitar in punk music. Each week we will focus on three songs, by three bands that defined this paradigm shifting genre.  

Learning outcomes 

12 songs

Effective use of 5th chords 

Mastery of punk rhythms and technique 

Enhanced fretboard knowledge 

Three famous punk riffs

One famous punk solo

What guitar to bring 

Electric guitar is reccomended along with a portable amplifier. Many people use Spark or Blackstar Fly amps. 

Acoustic guitars are also welcome-it's punk, you can do what you want. 

Can't make every session?

This is very common. If you miss up to a third of your program, we can keep you up to speed with video and email support.  We are also flexible with our schedule. If you need to jump on another session on a different date, the answer is always yes.
